Algunxs de sus impulsores fueron: Lolita Aniyar de Castro, Luck Hulsman, Nills Christie, Thomas Mathiesen o Herman Bianchi. Desde los activismos se destacan Cristical Resistence, Angela Davis y diferentes corrientes de los feminismos negros.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\\n<p><span style=\\\"color: #c380ff;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Las <\/span><b>c\u00e1rceles <\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">fueron<\/span><b> creadas<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"> en Europa como un intento humanista y progresista de \u201cenderezar conductas\u201d o \u201crehabilitar\u201d\u00a0 personas. Una manera de <\/span><b>humanizar el castigo<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"> frente a los ajusticiamientos en espacios p\u00fablicos. De est\u00e1 manera se institucionaliz\u00f3, se volvi\u00f3 tolerable para los buenos ciudadanos y se aplic\u00f3 a discreci\u00f3n sobre determinadas poblaciones. <\/span><b>Racializadxs, empobrecidxs, locxs, putxs y desviadxs <\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">de la norma fueron <\/span><b>encerrados<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"> como un modo de <\/span><b>disciplinamiento social. <\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\\n<p><span style=\\\"color: #c380ff;\\\"><b>Las c\u00e1rceles no reducen los delitos ni la criminalidad<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"> y cada vez m\u00e1s personas son encerradas, lo que supone un gasto desmedido que podr\u00eda ser reinvertido en mejorar condiciones de vida y en dar oportunidades. <\/span><b>El castigo y el poder punitivo no reparan y no previenen los conflictos.<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\\n<p><span style=\\\"color: #c380ff;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">No alcanza con mejorar las condiciones de detenci\u00f3n, tampoco celebramos las \u201cc\u00e1rceles modelo\u201d con universidades incluidas, gimnasios y otras propuestas.<\/span><b> Para nosotrxs no existen \u201cbuenas c\u00e1rceles\u201d ni c\u00e1rceles m\u00e1s humanas.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\\n<p><span style=\\\"color: #c380ff;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">En Argentina <\/span><b>el sistema penal no funciona<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">: m\u00e1s del 45% de las personas privadas de libertad no tienen condena. Est\u00e1n presxs sin haber sido probada la comisi\u00f3n de un delito. Las c\u00e1rceles est\u00e1n superpobladas y los \u00edndices de delito no descienden.<\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Veamos c\u00f3mo creci\u00f3 en los \u00faltimos veinte a\u00f1os la cantidad de personas privadas de libertad respecto de la poblaci\u00f3n total:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\\n<p><span style=\\\"color: #c380ff;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">A\u00f1o 2000: 37.885 personas privadas de libertad de una poblaci\u00f3n total de 36.784.000<\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">A\u00f1o 2022: 129.885personas privadas de libertad de una poblaci\u00f3n total de 46.044.703\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\\n<p><span style=\\\"color: #c380ff;\\\"><b>Las c\u00e1rceles funcionan como centros de tortura y muerte contempor\u00e1neos legalizados<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">. La cultura de la crueldad, de la violaci\u00f3n, de los femicidios y travesticidios est\u00e1n ligadas al castigo y a la represi\u00f3n. Son engranajes de la misma maquinaria, el reverso de la misma violencia, del\u00a0 deseo de control y castigo sobre lxs cuerpos. <\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Entendemos, como transfeministas, que la abolici\u00f3n de la pena, es la base sobre la cual imaginar nuevos modos de vincularnos.<\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">El abolicionismo penal es un proceso hist\u00f3rico a largo plazo y por eso nos convocamos a discutirlo y expandirlo. <\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Abolir la cultura del castigo, abolir la policializaci\u00f3n de nuestras vidas, abolir las crueldades.
